LA in Barcelona

This post is also available in: Bulgarian

Usually on Mondays I need a little push or inspiration to actually start the week with motivation. From the beginning of this week I was supposed to start again my Spanish courses. Unfortunately, I just woke up at 6:30am to get a little disappointed about the fact that there is no group at my level starting today.

However, we decided to make the best of this unplanned free day and went on to explore our sunny neighbourhood. Of course, we got to know the area right after we moved here, but we have never really just walked around. I didn’t expect how beautiful this neighbourhood actually is!

In all the places I have lived, the thing that I miss the most was the nature, all the trees and greens everywhere like in Bulgaria. This is one of the reasons I actually really like Barcelona. Only in our neighbourhood there were so many palm trees, parks and so many beautiful flower gardens, one cannot even count them. Loving palms trees and flowers, as much as I do, we obviously had to take a million photos in this beautiful surrounding.

Furthermore, during our walk today, I finally managed to take a photo of one really amazing small green bird, which I have usually seen nesting on the palms.

Surprisingly we got to this one street, which literally made me feel like I am in Los Angeles. It was this long not so busy street all with colourful houses and palm trees. It was exactly like the LA streets that we constantly see in the movies and on pictures in Instagram. It was so cute, we couldn’t stop taking photos.

However, the sun was setting and we decided to move to a place where we could see the sunset more. As the area is a bit up-the-hill, there were literally so many gorgeous views of Barcelona and even the beach with all the breath-taking colourful sunset clouds.
